Dr. Fixott

Dr. Fixott is a native of Oregon. He graduated from University
of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 1977. He then completed eight years of active duty in the Army
in Germany and Hawaii.
After leaving the service, he stayed in Hawaii in private general
practice and took the post as full-time civilian Forensic Odontologist at the US Army Central Identification Lab in Hawaii.
There he assisted in the identification of US missing service members from World War II, Korea and Vietnam.
He has been active in Forensics since 1984 and is a Diplomate of
the American Board of Forensic Odontology. In 1993 he returned to Portland, Oregon and to general dental practice.
He maintained his military connection with service in the Army Reserve with deployments to Bosnia, Ft. Leonard Wood, MO and
Iraq.
Dr. Fixott is a retired Colonel from the Army Reserve. Doctor
and his wife, Dr. Dawna-Marie Townsend-Fixott MD, moved to Redmond in 2005. Dawna-Marie owns her own private practice,
The Redmond Family Medical Center.
